Video Demonstrates Power of Sonetel PBXWhen we heard that Sonetel was the first company to offer free, scalable, global PBX (News - Alert) services to small and medium-sized companies worldwide, we knew we had come across something special and had to dig a bit deeper. And after conducting a video interview with Sonetel’s CEO and Founder Henrik Thomé, we learned that the PBX company has a lot to offer the SMB market. As captured in the recent video, Sonetel’s PBX business phone system is a free PBX service that gives users the ability to add numbers and extensions, voice response services and more, all within 60 seconds of downloading the service. The PBX service is touted for being extremely simple to set up and use. “Our aim is to be disruptive; we are adding conventional things to an unconventional offering,” Thomé told TMCnet in an earlier interview when asked what sets Sonetel apart in the industry. “… It’s a free lunch, but our philosophy is we can’t just give something away which is fake free, forcing people to buy something to make it useful. It has to be a free lunch for real.” Sonetel’s PBX service allows calls to be made on IP phones. You can install the software on your iPhone (News - Alert) or Android, or make and take calls on your Mac or PC. You can also forward calls to your regular landline and mobile phone. Another useful perk to Sonetel’s free PBX service is the option to make cheap international calls without using VoIP, according to Thomé. Businesses can also get toll free numbers, or local phone numbers in up to 50 countries. While Sonetel charges for some services, the core service, its PBX, is free and can be connected to any phone company, worldwide. Once connected, Sonetel will handle all calls at no cost. The extra services include voicemail to email and fax to email, and the international calling service. All these services can be used on an as-needed basis. Apart from saving on phone costs, there are a variety of reasons why companies are choosing a PBX system. It provides a professional front-end that can offer auto-attendant to help route calls to the right place. If no one is available to take the call, an advanced answering service takes over. This approach ensures customers capture an extremely professional image of the company using the PBX. At the same time, calls can be filtered with a PBX that saves employees time and money. Making international calls on a mobile phone can be very expensive, so using a PBX solution with Sonetel’s call-through can lead to considerable savings in international phone call costs. You can also add credibility to your business by offering local phone numbers in different countries. This enables current or potential customers to call a local phone number that reaches you in another part of the world. With a PBX, you have the necessary internal communications to get free, standardized solution for voice and video calls internally that works worldwide, which is extremely convenient. Calls can be forwarded to mobile phones if the person you’re trying to reach isn’t near their IP phone. As a result, reaching out and touching someone means you’ll actually make the connection. |
